The neighborhood was developed in the past 2 years with modern and luxurious buildings in front of the white beaches of Playa del Carmen. The neighborhood is very quiet and still has many unbuilt lots, which gives it a more natural look.
Two blocks up north it connects to the famous Fifth Avenue, which continues its course 2 kilometers towards the south.

The northern end of Fifth Avenue called the "New Fifth" taking advantage of the development of the city sprawl in the same way along the sea and the beautiful beaches of Mamitas and Coco Beach ; This is an upscale area with new construction, brick lined streets and a more European flavor.
